The career of a master painter
Stefano Perrone began his journey into the world of painting in 1991 during a trial apprenticeship. This experience sparked a passion that never left him. After his master’s examination, he decided to become self-employed and joined Promarket, which was looking for an application technician for the DeBeer Refinish series. In this role, he demonstrated the products directly to customers and quickly realised that the colour accuracy and simplicity of the DeBeer system were convincing. Within a very short time, he convinced over 30 customers of the quality and efficiency of the brand, then his desire to become his own boss prevailed.
"The colour accuracy convinced not only me from the start. We measured colours from daily business and problem colours with DeBeer and its system, mixed and painted them, and found that 70-80% of the results from the DeBeer series were better, otherwise at least equivalent," recalls Perrone.

This allows him to consistently achieve excellent results, even with demanding colours such as three- and four-layer coatings.

Today, Perrone works exclusively with DeBeer Refinish. Around 70% of his paintings are done with the water-based series WaterBase 900+, the rest with the conventional series 500 and 2000. He particularly appreciates the transferable codes of the series, which allow seamless integration. He also uses the innovative clear coats and fillers to save time and energy, further increasing his efficiency. "Energy saving is currently an important issue for us. We currently dry everything at 35 degrees or in the air to free up our booth faster for new orders," he explains.
